Today we will tell you about the dynasty of the Kornienko family, their work experience reaches almost 90 years!

JSC “Poltava Turbomechanical Plant” is included in the list of leading industrial enterprises of Poltava. The main products of the plant are assemblies and parts for the reconstruction and repair of steam turbines of power plants.

The Kornienko family has been working at the company for almost 90 years. All this time, father and son worked at the same site and were engaged in one business – flaking the discs of the working wheels of the rotors of steam turbines.

Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Kornienko currently works at the enterprise, his work experience is 28 years. Today we will talk about him, what he does and what he likes in production.

After the army, there was no work, and his father offered him to work at an enterprise. He gladly agreed and began his working career as an ordinary apprentice of a mechanical and assembly mechanic.

By education Oleksandr Anatoliyovych is a technician-mechanic of road machines and equipment. At the enterprise, he works as a foreman of the metalworking and assembly section No. 4 of the Turbine spare parts workshop.

Thanks to the professionalism and experience of his father, Kornienko Anatoly Volodymyrovych, who worked at the company from the age of 16 until retirement and has one record in his work record. We can say with confidence that he proudly passed on all the acquired knowledge and experience to his son.

Anatoliyovych’s main task, controlling the assembly of the diaphragms, and controlling the operation of the entire station. There are only 6 people in his team, but they are professionals in their field and each have several specialties that they acquired while working at the plant.
