Production of new equipment

The enterprise has traditions that improve the work of inter-shop production and attract new technologies and opportunities for professional work – cooperation.

According to the instructions of the management, a decision was made to cooperate between the Foundry and JSC “Poltava Turbomechanical Plant” for the manufacture of special equipment to increase the number of castings per melting.

To solve this task, representatives of both departments, from the design and technical department to shop workers, were involved. Everyone gathered together and discussed, gave their advice, decided how to improve quality and speed up the production of equipment.

This is a new type of work for the instrument department, for which new specialists and technologists were involved. New equipment into which we have invested all our soul, knowledge, ideas, effort and professionalism.

The first fittings and blanks were made from scratch, it took a lot of time, the next one was already made from the processing of the first fixture, we used a plate and turned the fixture according to the customer’s drawing. The old equipment was used as much as possible, for this the specialists went through the first equipment, left the good parts and gave a list of what needs to be bought and resharpened at another site to maximize the use of resources at the enterprise.

The most important work in the tool industry, which consists in perfect accuracy, and the measuring tool is the basis! The life path of a part begins with the accuracy of the tooling.

The entire shop works on these models. For all new models, the tool shop also makes templates for machines – a clamp for mechanical processing.

When the equipment is ready, it is sent to the Foundry for further use. And what did we get from one casting:

We achieved optimization of production and saved resources and costs related to this.

Cooperation is always present at the “Nicmas” Concern, because it helps to preserve and increase the potential of all stakeholders, to improve the quality of work and goods as a whole.
